Overview

As of 2010, there are five JLPT levels instead of four. I have no official list of kanji, so I have used EDICT as a reference. If you have any insights in regards to this matter, please let me know.

New level 5 is near the same as old level 4

New level 4 is near the same as old level 3

New level 3 is between old level 3 and old level 2

New level 2 is near the same as old level 2

New level 1 is near the same as old level 1
